This is a wicked fun pattern to tie. So many techniques can be learned and I still have lots of room to improve with my elk hair, but figured I would post a video due to messages requesting it. The elk hair abdomen is basically a floating cork of hair and the Hackle hair along with the legs are designed to keep it floating correctly. The resin on the underbody helps to keep everything set in place and increase durability.
Tie some up, try the pheasant legs, switch up some colors and pierce some lips.
