Finding a new material, Zero Gravity Dubbing, which is basically marabou and flash made in house by Snake River fly I had to incorporate it into some leech patterns to test this summer. Immediately I noticed how nicely it tapered. The dubbing has a very good ratio of marabou to flash and spins in a dubbing loop very nicely. Make sure to brush the fibers out when finished, and do a double thread dub loop meaning don't split the thread and make sure to use a 6/0 or 8/0. In the video I used a 12/0 waxed thread by Semperfli which is ultra strong and so I was able to go to a lighter thread. Tie some up in your favorite bugger and leech patterns and go pierce some lips.
