A pattern that originated on the Green River in Utah that has proven effective summer after summer. I love foam flies in the summer months. I typically fish this with floating line alone or with the addition of a dropper 5-8 feet below it. Sometimes you get a top water hit and other times it acts as an indicator. Tie it up in your favorite color combos and add the foam hot indicator to your liking.

Thread: Semperfli Classic Waxed thread 12/0 red
Foam: Craft Store 2mm foam
Underbody: Natures Spirit Peacock herl long
Legs: Wapsi small round rubber
Glue: Wapsi Z-ment
